Kinds of Drugs
Brain damaged by drugs

.: Super Marijuana.

A study conducted by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center of the United States and published in the Scientific Journal of Cancer, found out that marijuana smokers have a 70% increased risk of testicular cancer in its more aggressive form.

In the light of these results, the advent of super marijuana named so by its high concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the major psychoactive component of cannabis, poses an increased threat to marijuana users given that 50 years ago, the concentration of THC in the herb was less than 5% and now reaches levels of 14%, ie it is much stronger and therefore it can cause a lot more damage.

Super marijuana is just the same traditional cannabis which has been grown from modified or transgenic seeds and this allows a greater concentration of its active ingredient. And this makes THC stay for weeks in the brain, causing damage to neurons, with numbness of memory, causing major changes in short-term memory, decreased learning ability and concentration, causes lethargy, paranoia, impaired locomotion.

People with schizoid profile may also experience prolonged psychiatric problems. And the damage to the cardiovascular system may increase the risk of fatal heart attacks in young users.

.: Cocaine.

Cocaine increases the muscles work capacity and decreases appetite. When snorted through the nose causes nasal septum perforation and mucosal damage. Cocaine produces hallucinations, brain excitation, anxiety, dilated pupils, respiratory depression, cardiac depression and even death. In many cases once the high is gone, generates homicide and suicide tendencies. Cocaine decreases sperm production, causing impotence and creating imbalances in the genetic code, often leading drug addicts to homosexuality.

By increasing adrenaline secretion, the blood clotting capacity is also increased often causing death by heart attack and stroke.

Cocaina

Cocaine can be used in several ways: aspirated or inhaled, injected or smoked. The compulsive use of cocaine can be accelerated if smoked rather than inhaled through the nose. Smoking high doses can reach the brain faster producing a strong and immediate stimulus. The person who uses injected drugs takes a high risk of transmitting or acquiring HIV infection (AIDS), by sharing needles or other injection equipment.

Cocaine is a strong stimulant of the central nervous system and hinders the reabsorption process of dopamine, a chemical messenger that is associated with pleasure and movement.

By inhibiting the synthesis of testosterone, cocaine leads to homosexual tendencies and behaviors and this is why many celebrities and famous rock musicians who were or are drug users have become gays or bisexual or have committed suicide.

The faster the absorption of cocaine the more intense the stimulus is but the faster the absorption, the shorter its action. If inhaled the effect can last 15 to 30 minutes and if smoked about 5 to 10 minutes. Scientific evidence indicates that the powerful neuropsychological effects of cocaine leads people to continued use, despite its harmful physical and social consequences. High doses or prolonged use of cocaine or both, can lead to paranoia. Smoking cocaine can produce particularly aggressive paranoid behavior in users. Deaths related to cocaine use often occurs as a consequence of cardiac arrest or seizures followed by respiratory arrest.

Ethylene Cocaine: The use of cocaine in combination with alcohol, poses a higher threat because in this case a complex chemical experiment is unknowingly performed in the body. In fact, researchers funded by the National Drug Institute of the United States have discovered that human liver combines cocaine and alcohol and manufactures a third substance, ethylene cocaine, which enhances the euphoric effects of cocaine and at the same time increases the risk of sudden death. It must be remembered that cocaine is one of the most powerful addictive drugs. Once a person has tried it, it cannot be anticipated or controlled how far he will continue using it.

Volatile Drugs: “Boxer” is an inhalant compound containing benzene, an organic solvent, that causes depression of the central nervous system and produces alterations in the blood and bone marrow. The use of “boxer” degenerates the bone marrow, which normally produces red blood cells and platelets, turning it into fibrous tissues and stopping the production of red blood cells. This causes irreversible anemia oraplastic anemia. Inhalation of “boxer” damages the brain and the nervous system and impairs the development of the psychological, motor and sexual functions. Lowers the IQ, produces brutalization and "animal-like" behavior and finally leads to madness.

Gamines or street-childs also inhale high leaded gasoline which damages the brain and the central nervous system and causes paralysis leading to death.

Ecstasy: Ecstasy can send anyone who uses it on a trip without return ticket. It is kind of Russian roulette. Ectasy is a new synthetic illegal drug while marijuana and cocaine are traditional drugs.

Ecstasy is a substance from the phenethylamines family and is known as MDMA for short. Ecstasy use has similar effects to amphetamines such as dilated pupils, increased heart beat, reduced appetite and sexual stimulation. The pill´s effect lasts for about 6 hours and when it is gone, the user feels extremely tired and beaten. It is a hallucinogenic drug and we know that  hallucination is the result of a disorder in the arrangement of neurons in the brain and is typical of the deluded or insane.

Due to the strong acceleration of the physiological functions, many consumers have died of heart attacks, kidney failure, hipetermia (increased body temperature), dehydration. The strong effect of Ecstasy can cause permanent brain damage. Its use poses a high threat to people who suffer from heart, liver, asthma, epilepsy, severe depression as a single pill can cause death. Ecstasy addicts are usually fans of electronic type music such as: House, Rave, Techno, Trance.
