Vasectomía
Well, three years ago I decided to have Vasectomy because we have three babies and we wanted to have sex without having the risk of pregnancy. I have the surgery with Dr Hudson from the Adventist Hospital in Glendale CA. During the first year (2002) I began to have lot of pain in my testicles, I was tired very soon and had not sexual desire. My wife was very worried. During the year 2002-2003, one year ago, the pain in my testis was even worse, in a way that I could not control the pain by myself by which they gave me Tylenol 3. Moreover, I became completely impotent and I couldn’t keep an erection. It was like my penis was dead. My penis was always flaccid even when I watched pornographic movies or my wife was naked trying to stimulate me to have sex. After all these problems, they hospitalized me for a week and after several studies they confirmed that I had a problem in my testicles, in the epididymis and vas deferens like a little infection and my testicles were twisted. The solution was drastic: the surgical castration, which means the extirpation of my testicles which though they were still in the scrotum they were not functional because they were dead. This was the only alternative I had if I wanted to take care of my health. As you can imagine, I was feeling very sad and suffered an attack of anxiety and for this reason that night they gave me Prozac. My wife signed the agreement to perform the operation and in this way I lost my 2 testicles. It has been one year since the operation and I am feeling more or less OK, the only bad thing is that I am sexually impotent, though sometimes I have hormones to compensate for the effects of the castration. I have strong heat at nights. Francisco. EEUU.
